After transporting 10,1 million passengers in 2012, the Panamanian airline Copa Airlines projects to transport 11 million in 2013.
The airline estimates that this year will be an increase in their transportation capacity with 14% in comparison with last year’s 24 % increase.
The CEO of Copa Airlines, Pedro Heilbron, indicated that during 2013 the company will receive 13 new aircrafts, having a total fleet of 90 airplanes.
51,1 % of the airlines used by Copa are U.S. manufacture Boeing and the remaining is Brazilian manufacturer Embraer.
Also, the company has an order for 26 new aircrafts and 16 additional purchase options.
